Agreements: Master Supply/Service Agreement (MSA)

Veren does business with a wide range of suppliers, contractors and service providers over a broad land base. These transactions are typically governed by specific agreements and contracts that are established only when required. Suppliers, contractors and service providers who provide goods or services to Veren are required to enter into one of our standard form agreements. These agreements contain the terms and conditions that govern the relationship between Veren and the supplier, contractor and service provider. These contracts include specific provisions for insurance and workers' compensation coverage that suppliers, contractors and service providers must obtain and of which they must provide proof. Having a MSA in place does not guarantee any work with Veren.

Existing Suppliers: Supplier Pre-Qualification

We believe in working with innovative suppliers to help drive Veren's success. Our suppliers also play a key role in helping us operate a safe and efficient business. Veren is committed to a culture focused on safety, sustainability, ethical behavior and environmental compliance; it is important that Veren’s suppliers share those same values. 

Veren has engaged ISNetworld to support the supplier management program and streamline the supplier pre-qualification process.  ISNetworld is a third-party platform that collects and manages supplier data to ensure Veren’s suppliers are meeting specified requirements. Existing and new suppliers that are related to the exploration and production of oil must follow the pre-qualification process in ISNetworld.

What to expect:

• You will be asked a variety of questions (if applicable) including, but not limited to business health, insurance, corporate social responsibility, health and safety, driving safety, and environmental, etc.

Required documents may include:

• WCB Clearance letter
• Certificates of Insurance
• Certificate of Incorporation
• Government-issued document showing GST number and corporate legal name
• Health and Safety Manual and Statistics

Suppliers must maintain an Approved (Green) status in order to do work for Veren.

New Suppliers: Expression of Interest

We believe in working with innovative suppliers to help drive Veren's success. Our focus on strategic sourcing, including the introduction of new suppliers, is designed to create long-term benefits for both Veren and its suppliers. Veren will, at its discretion, look to increase or broaden its supplier base as required by reviewing new suppliers that have registered a basic profile in ISNetworld. Please note that expressing an interest to supply goods and services to Veren does not place you on a pre-qualified list, nor does it obligate Veren to provide work or enter a contractual relationship with any company.

If you are interested in becoming eligible for future work with Veren, please register as a supplier in the ISNetworld platform. Please note there is a nominal cost to this, and it does not guarantee future work.
