Our career website will allow you to apply for employment with Veren. We collect your personal information when you register on this website for the purposes of seeking employment. Personal information is defined as any information about an identifiable individual or that permits an individual to be identified. The personal information collected on this site may include your name, address, city, province or state, postal code, country, email address, phone number, as well as information regarding your job preferences, current and prior employment, education, language proficiencies, licenses and certificates, skills, references, resume, transcripts and any other pertinent information you choose to provide.
You may update, revise or delete your personal information at any time, however, an inaccurate or incomplete candidate profile may exclude you from consideration for job opportunities.
How Will We Use Your Information
The purpose of this collection is to identify, track and recruit employment candidates and to provide statistical information to monitor trends in the labour market. This statistical information is in aggregate form and does not identify individuals. You do not need to provide any personal information to view job postings.

Your personal information will be safeguarded in accordance with applicable privacy legislation and appropriate security standards. You may withdraw your personal information at any time.
Your personal information will be disclosed to appropriate Veren hiring leaders and human resources in order to consider you for employment opportunities for which you apply. Additionally, we may disclose your personal information under the following circumstances: (i) when required or permitted by law or government agencies, including for statistical reporting or to the Canadian Human Rights Commission or U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as may be applicable and (ii) when gathering reference information to validate your credentials and candidacy.
Retention
As an external candidate, your personal information will be retained for 12 months if no interview takes place. If an interview takes place, but you were not hired, your personal information will be retained for three years. If you would like your information withdrawn, please let us know.
Third-party Service Providers
Veren may use third-party service providers to process personal information on its behalf, including for information storage, human resource administration, employment and education verification or similar purposes. These service providers may be located outside of Canada, including, but not limited to, in the United States. We will ensure that any such transfers are subject to appropriate contractual provisions and comply with all applicable privacy legislation.
